Southern Electric is a merit shop contractor that has been in business for 14 years. Southern currently employs approximately 50 employees with access to a workforce of over 300 employees. Southern Electric’s portfolio of work consists of several projects averaging $2,000,000 and above, in addition to smaller projects. Most of our projects are built on aggressive construction schedules, which we are well-versed in.
Our completed projects include the electrical portion of the building construction including: installation of industrial machining equipment, conveyor systems, process systems, medium and high voltage switchgear, distribution centers, hospitals, and extrusion plants.
Southern Electric provides service to the Jackson area as well as the entire state of Tennessee with a CE-Unlimited electrical contracting license. Southern currently holds a contractor’s license in the states of Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky, Texas, Arizona, West Virginia, Virginia, Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida, Colorado, Louisiana, and Utah and more. Since 2007, ICE LLC has been supplying custom industrial automation systems, energy reduction management systems, commercial electrical systems and wastewater management systems to the Western Tennessee region and throughout the United States.
ICE is a certified UL508A licensed panel shop. To date, ICE has provided UL listed control panels for hundreds of customers nationwide.
We pride ourselves on premiere quality products. We only produce state-of-the-art electrical systems. Each customer’s project detail is reviewed carefully by our experienced team to provide the best solution and budgetary plan. Each and every panel is built with the highest standards and power tested before leaving our UL panel shop. Our panel builders have decades of experience and possess superior knowledge in the field. We provide fully designed CAD wiring diagrams, layouts and installation plans to each client utilizing the AutoCad 2018 electrical platform. Our aim is to always implement the latest technology for our end users. With our technical backgrounds, experience and commitment to our clients, ICE is positioned to provide superior solutions for all requests.

- I.C.E. works closely with UL to insure our product is up to the latest standards for today’s industrial market.
- All panels are hot tested before leaving our facility to assure the customer of proper wiring and proper functionality of the components before arrival at their facility.
- Our staff has been certified to provide AC Drives startup services.
